El extracto de cannabis ha demostrado ser efectivo en la lucha contra el cáncer de piel (melanoma)

A groundbreaking study has recently illuminated the unique benefits of THCV, a relatively obscure compound found in cannabis. Unlike the well-known effects of marijuana's delta-9 THC, which tends to leave users feeling tired and hungry, THCV offers a refreshing alternative. This exciting research, carried out in a meticulous double-blind setup, has brought to light THCV's ability to boost energy, motivation, and overall well-being, all without the infamous "munchies" effect. The collaborative efforts of Phylos, a leading cannabis genetics company, and People Science, a research firm dedicated to marijuana studies, have culminated in this significant discovery.

Their study involved 78 participants who were given different types of gummies: some contained the usual THC, others were placebo (unmedicated), and a special batch was infused with Phylos’s THCV-rich "Get Sh!t Done" strain. The outcomes were compelling, revealing that THCV users felt notably more energized and enjoyed daily activities more than those who took the placebo or standard THC gummies. Interestingly, while half of the participants consuming regular THC experienced increased appetite, those who tried THCV reported no such effect.

Furthermore, fatigue was significantly less common among THCV users compared to those on THC. Both compounds, however, were linked to improved activity levels, exercise performance, and a sense of well-being compared to placebo, showcasing the potential benefits of THCV in enhancing lifestyle without the unwanted side effects traditionally associated with cannabis use.

Though yet to be published in a peer-reviewed journal, this study marks a crucial step forward in understanding the diverse effects of cannabinoids. Alisha Holloway, Phylos's Chief Scientific Officer, emphasized the study's importance in advancing targeted cannabis products and exploring the benefits of natural cannabinoids. As the cannabis industry continues to evolve, THCV could very well lead the way in developing products tailored for those seeking the positive aspects of cannabis without the drawbacks.
